Victorian Socialists in Sydenham want to fight to put people before profit. We are sick of career politicians getting in and ignoring our communities, instead making deals with billionaire corporations to pollute our suburbs.

Shania is a train-driver, unionist, and anti-racist activist who has grown up in Sydenham her whole life. She knows what its like to be left-behind by the major parties, who only fan the flames of racism in our suburbs while refusing to build adequate public transport or a public hospital in the local area.

Anneke is a renter and long-standing socialists activist who has spent her life fighting to make life better for working class people. She is sick of seeing working-class communities being neglected by people in power, and believes that the western suburbs deserve more - there aren't enough schools, hospitals, buses or trains to service our suburbs, and wages aren't increasing as fast as the price of groceries, rents and mortgages.
